Book your survey today. CRB checked surveyor will complete HSE 30 minute Legionella survey at the property on your hot and cold water systems. You will be issued with a legionella pass certificate. The IOSH certification last for 2 years.
We cover Greater Manchester, Stockport and Cheshire and provide CRB checked Legionella Risk Assessment surveys for domestic rented properties. The HSE code of practice changed Jan 2015 requiring all domestic landlords to carry out such risk assessments on all domestic rental properties. Identifying and Assessing sources of Risk
- There are sources of nutrients such as rust, sludge, scale, organic matter and biofilms
- The conditions are likely to encourage bacteria to multiply
- It is possible for water droplets to be produced and, if so, whether they can be dispersed over a wide area, e.g. showers and aerosols from other water outlets or sources
- It is likely that any residents, visitors etc… are more susceptible to infection due to age, illness, a weakened immune system etc… and whether they could be exposed to any contaminated water droplets
TVC Testing – Total viable aerobic bacteria counts at 22°C and 37°C
37°C is human body temperature. Bacteria is grown at this temperature to identify those bacteria most likely to survive and effect humans after consumption. Obtaining a general TVC count can be used to assess the general level of risks to occupants and cleanliness of the system.
